Acoustic

Post by gabo234 » Tue Nov 01, 2005 11:21 am

Hey guys. Im have a question about some of the songs on the Acoustic CD(namely Boss DJ, Mary and some others I cant think of right now). Does he play them lower than regular or is the guitar tuned differently than normal? Because Im playing them and I can tell a major difference in sound... Anyways, any info is appreciated.

uhh,no its sounds perfect with normal tuning, maybe your guitars outta tune? and idk how experienced you are, if not, see if your playing or reading the chords right, OR try a different tab site if you cant figure out whats wrong

Nope, all songs are in regular tuning...

Try playing a barre chord instead of an open chord, or an open chord instead of a barre...

Alright alright...No I dont have one of those lmao. Nice try though lol. I figured it out, I just started playing this acoustic maybe a month ago, and I hadnt changed the strings on it for probably about two or three years, and I realized they sounded really dull, but I didnt know it was so bad as to change the intonation on it. It was truly pathetic. But now with my new strings, everything is sounding allll right :) thanks anyways.

sometimes you can add a CAPO to change the key can't you? no??

That' what I do for a few songs that I can't sing in the artists key, I just add a capo and MAGIC,,it's in my key.
