No, roots are not chords. They simply identify the chord.

1) about 4 years now.
2) Yes, its a Raven 1000-Q, and they don't make that specific model anymore.

lefty eh? thats nice hey im thinking of getting an acoustic for my bday 300-350$ mabe any suggestions?


i got a black fender squire, beginner guitar but i hear its a decent one :D

yeh man dont listen to what people say about guitars. lots of queers think that haven a gibson les paul makes them good. i have played for 10 years and i still use my squire. the best guy i no, this unreal guy still uses sum cheap peice of shit yamaha and he is amaazzinggg

Its not the guitar, its the player. Sure, you could spend $10,000 on a completely custom Alembic, but it won't make you a better player.

As far as getting an acoustic, go to the guitar store and try out some. Me telling you what to get will not help much.

Oh, totally. Almost everyting on the guitar shapes its tone. Everything, save for the tuners on the headstock. Besides those, I mean again that everything else shapes the tone. Some are more minor than others. Theres also the cosmetic appeal.
