boss dj

Post by stevie » Tue May 20, 2008 8:05 am

so...

(ok, this is very embarrassing, don't make fun!)

I could have sworn that it is sung " I won't walk upon the stage like I was john lennon" in a version of the song.

I've always sung it that way too....I ve been listening to this for like 12years, and it takes headphones for me to hear correctly?

tell me im not hearing things!

Jack Johnson? I think I may also have a Reel Big Fish cover somewhere too...but the lyrics are correct.

i can't understand him...it sounds like he says "I wont walk up upon the stage like it was dry land"

(jack, not brad)

it's at 2:25 in the song

In need your ears people. i don't know why this is getting to me so badly.

I wouldnt be suprised if you heard it... when a band plays the same song over 50 times they get sick of singing the same lyrics over and over again so they tend to switch things up a little bit. The original boss dj that was on robbin the hood, bradley def says "I wont walk up upon the sea like it was dry land".
If rhymes were valium's I'd be comfortably numb.

jack J has a...I don;t know if it's a lisp or if it's just the way he talks...but I can't understand some words he sings that should be easy and clear to hear.... not very many..but a few.

maybe he is saying sea, but in his incoherent random word way.

i'll still sng stage though.

and john lennon.

I like that better.
