I always wonder this because this is more like an older song cover then the rest of the stuff it was from a tv show or something like that right

Ooh now I understand there is more covers of this like this reggae version by cyntia richards now I understand where the reggae version evolved from. I think the cyntia version is better than the original version

Most reggae has a ton of covers/different versions.

yeah I know but the dee dee version did not sound like a reggae to me. but I know back in the days artist of reggae used to cover a bunch of songs that were considered classic
