its more like beatboxing or even more like the thing they do in jazz... scatting i believe it was called.

lyrics in reggae are more offan instrument than lyrics apart from the music.

well the rambling and indecive words bradley uses on freestyles and demos. but also the way bob marley used his words and sounds in songs.

and if you know The invasion by Burningspear. the song is pretty much built around "wadadada ooooh wadadada"

not a godd example

cause that song is The Invasion (AKA 'Black Wa-Da-Da')

Wa-Da-Da means love. so hes singing about black love though out the song.

wa da da means love?

i doubt its a direct translation since jamaicans speak english or 'ungrammatical english'. but i dont doubt the truth in what it might mean to a lot of people.

reggae isnt a word that was created to mean something, its simply the sound of a simple 1-2 rhythm. reg gae reg gae reg gae.. bob marley said so.

finegreen out of interest do you know any full blooded, or half blood jamaicans?

i aint doubting you, im just wondering.
