Re: GUITAR HELP

No, the problem is that that your guitar becomes very top heavy is the knob is on the back. That's why it keeps happening. Not really anything to do about it, just hold it up with one hand.

A Minor is actully more like the relative minor of C Major then the south pole... Regardless... Scale degrees: Simply, they break down like this. Let's use C Major here because it contains no sharps or flats. The notes go like this: C D E F G A B C notice how there are eight notes... There are also ...

Well, minor chords wouldn't effect the keys he uses... For example, G Major doesn't have less minors then A minor. Each keys would have four minor chords and three major chords within them, despite the fact that one is a major key and the other is a minor key. They key G certainly shows up in Brad's...

As far as books are concerned, seek out the Berklee Method. It's a three volume book, and if you start at the beginning of volume one and work all teh way through, no matter how long it takes, and finish method three, you will be a VERY good player. The books are put out by Berklee College of Music,...

Brad didn't use one particular key... But the key of A seems to show up a lot.

Also, he used pentatonics a lot, and they easy to do... Simply take a major scale, and use degrees 1, 2, 3, 5, 6. Pentatonic, baby...

What do you mean? Do you want prerecorded beats, or do you want charts to show you beats?

The bass tabs, I believe, double the guitar on the riff from Contact Buzz, then play the root of each chord.

If that isn't exact, it will work.

If you give me the chords, I'll try and figure out some scales to use...I would rather not tab out a solo.

DO NOT LEARN HOW TO PLAY RIGHTY IF YOU'RE LEFT HANDED!!!! Trust me...It'll be a waste of time and you'l feel stupid because you won't progress at all. Either spend the extra money on a guitar, or do what Jimi did. And also, don't get an Ibanez for your first guitar. Go with something like an Epiphon...

Well, since the geocities site went down (Anyone know what happened to it?) I've found the best place to be www.xguitar.com 's Sublime section. It's only got offical releases, but they're very good.

Off the top of my head, I Love My Dog is mostly C-F...start with open chords until the reggae part, when it switches to barre.

Well, you're much less likely to find harmonica tabs per say...Not for free, at least...If you're willing to pay a few bucks, you could get either online lessons or a book which I'm sure would show you how to play certain songs. Harmonica tabs are just the hole numbers, followed by an arrow to indic...

Some kind of jazzy-hollowbody...If I had to venture a wild, wild guess, I'd go with its a...Gibson. An old Gibson...Probably a couple thousand, very likely more.

Hm...tough to say exactly which songs he is using which guitar...I can imagine that for the earlier stuff, 40 Oz. and maybe Robbin', Brad most likely used the Ibanez because I don't think he got the custom guitar until much further into his career, though he did have it on the Warped Tour...Honestly...
