Red Nectar Ale 

A favorite beer of mine, this is an attempt to create one of the finest California ales.

Ingredients:

 

Brewed on July 3, 1999

July 18, 1999

Rack wort to secondary fermenter.  It smells pretty good, a bit darker than I thought.  One week in the secondary should help a bit.

July 25

Beer transferred to a keg.

August 4

The beer smells a bit weird in the keg.  Should taste good though.  Will chill it tomorrow and get ready to carbonate and tap this weekend.

*just got word that I will be brewing beer for my friends upcoming wedding.  Cool.
