Mike's Pale Ale (my first
self-created recipe)

Ingredients:
- 6 lbs. Pale malt extract
- 1 lb. Crystal Malt 15`
- .25 lb. Carapils (Dextrin Malt)
- .25 lb. Crystal Malt 35`
- .5 lb. Crystal Malt 100`
- 2 oz. Chinook (boil)
- .5 oz. Cascade (30 minutes)
- .5 oz. Cascade (15 minutes)
- Irish moss (15 minutes)
- 1 oz. Cascade (dry hop)
- White Labs California Ale yeast
This beer turned out differently than I
expected. It was bitter from the hops and sweet from the grains. I
would do it again but try Mt. Hood hops, or Centennial hops at the end.
